So, in the professional life as we go higher the hierarchy it really matters as it decides the course of the company, resource distribution whether its financial, political power or human resources and future of hundreds of lives depending on what the situation is up for.
So as to get to the point, the dilemma I was in was about the time management where one has to distribute time for everything in required or necessary basis. At least in our work life, the core work assigned should be prioritized as it is the support of the growth or simply the backbone of our work life. But the selfish mind ours always try to prioritize the other works, so as to get the pleasure or get off the work load. so good decision in this matter gives a satisfaction in our daily life.
But keeping a positive attitude, being at a place of good happenings [I mean every decision matters] gives a higher chance of utilizing the available time and resources for a greater good. Interestingly enough this keeps every top university, company or a single human capital with the power of decision making occupied.
As far as the priority is concerned, I really like the Google concept of 70%+20%+10% where 70% is dedicated to core work, 20% is dedicated to supportive work and 10% is dedicated to completely non related work. This provides the supportive time management basis for the work distribution and to be in track of what kind of work we are into. On the other hand, this provides a time for self nourishment of the idea or a time for innovation or the time to relax and give our brain time to think of something new.
Now I'm really wondering how I'm going to correlate decision making and work priority. This is the core of the article. At least as a student, A fine balance between the core work and the freelance activity is required to achieve the maximum excellence. The supportive work can directly results in a enhanced resume and a set of skills due to the risk taken, usually come handy in the future.And of course, everything is backed by the interest in the core study/work.
